We understand the emotional impact of diagnosis, treatment, loss, and grief, and offer a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where healing, understanding, and personal growth can begin. When you feel overwhelmed or alone, we are here to walk beside you and help you rediscover strength, hope, and resilience when you need it most.
Welcome to Time For Me –A Specialist Counselling service for Cancer, Serious Illness and Bereavement
Time for Me is an informal collective of experienced, independent counsellors based across the South West of England. Having previously worked together within a specialist cancer counselling charity, we share a commitment to providing compassionate, knowledgeable support for people affected by cancer, serious illness and bereavement.
Our network brings together therapists with specialist experience in supporting individuals, couples, families, children and young people through some of life's most challenging experiences. While each therapist works independently within their own private practice, we are united by shared values of compassion, professionalism and person-centred care.
Whether you are navigating a recent diagnosis, living with cancer, caring for a loved one, facing anticipatory grief, adjusting to bereavement, or reflecting on your own mortality, you can connect directly with a therapist whose experience best meets your needs.
We understand that the impact of serious illness and loss is deeply personal. These experiences can affect every aspect of life, including emotional wellbeing, physical health, relationships, work and sense of identity. Every therapist within the Time for Me network offers a safe, confidential and supportive space to help you explore your experiences at your own pace.
Although we are connected through Time for Me, each therapist is an independent practitioner responsible for their own clinical practice, professional standards and client relationships. Any therapeutic agreement is made directly between you and your chosen therapist.
